Civil Rights Coalition Files Emergency Request for Temporary Restraining Order

On June 2, 2020, Justice Action Center (JAC), American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and the Innovation Law Lab, with pro bono assistance from Mayer Brown LLP, filed an emergency request to the U.S. District Court of the District of Columbia, requesting a temporary restraining order related to Gomez vs. Trump. Our lawsuit against the Trump administration is to protect families whose children will "age out" of the system, while the immigration ban is in place.
