Lawsuit Filed Against Justice Department Demanding Three Children Be Reunited with Family
On Tuesday, March 17th, the Justice Action Center (JAC) and the Capital Area Immigrants' Rights (CAIR) Coalition, with pro bono support from O'Melveny & Myers LLC, filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Justice, demanding that three children who are currently separated from their parents, being held in a shelter and facing deportation, be released into the custody of their father, who is currently living in Maryland, and allowed to seek asylum.
