That’s the question JAC Narrative Research Specialist, Liliana Ramirez, Ph.D., explores in her report, Life and Limbo: How DACA Impacts Family Planning. Over the course of a year, Dr. Ramirez conducted in-depth interviews with Andrea, Krysta, and Oscar—three people with and without DACA and married to U.S. citizens—who expressed an often-overlooked impact of our convoluted immigration system: barriers to starting a family.
