June 15 will mark 14 years since immigrant youth won DACA protections. Despite the hundreds of thousands of people who have been able to build their lives and careers in the U.S. thanks to this program, we’re currently witnessing the most dangerous moment in DACA’s history.

This administration is attacking programs meant to protect our families and communities. Some protections, like birthright citizenship and TPS protections for individuals from Haiti, Syria and other countries, are being directly attacked. Others, like DACA, are being dismantled through a thousand calculated cuts.

DACA is being hollowed piece by piece until its protections become meaningless and recipients are not only forced out of status altogether, but deported from the only homes they’ve ever known. Whether it is the latest court decision from the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) that makes it easier to detain, deport and disappear DACA recipients, the unprecedented renewal delays at USCIS that are stripping tens of thousands of recipients of jobs, income, and legal status, or the targeted immigration enforcementthere is no overstating that DACA is being dismantled piece by piece every day.

The consequences of these mass delegalization attacks have been devastating. Over 100,000 children –the vast majority of them U.S. citizens– have been separated from their parents and families as more and more people lose status, are detained, and rapidly deported without due process. The Department of Homeland Security’s own records reveal that federal agents have detained over 340 DACA recipients and deported at least 90 since the start of 2025.

Like all working people, DACA recipients are being treated as disposable despite powering our cities, our country, and our economy.

Whether it’s our neighbors with DACA or TPS, those who are doctors, nurses and healthcare workers in our hospitals, the teachers in our children’s schools, every single one of us –immigrant or not– has benefited from DACA recipients and immigrants being a part of our communities. We cannot stay silent as our neighbors are stripped of their status, detained and deported, and as billions of our taxpayer dollars continue to be wasted to keep deadly facilities like Delaney Hall open.

At a time when working families all across the country are struggling to get by, Congress has the power to ensure our families, communities, and workforces can remain intact. A pathway to citizenship and legislation like the Dream Act and the Dream and Promise Act would provide long-overdue stability and deliver real solutions for working people.

In honor of the DACA anniversary on June 15th, will you take action today to call on your members of Congress to stop the Delegalization Agenda & Deliver Citizenship Now? SEND A LETTER to Congress and call on them to support real solutions like the Dream Act and the Dream and Promise Act!
